LD meets Barbara and Michael again....

...it was a very nice day for me.... i met Barbara second time... a very nice lady....

...they came to Luton Air Park station to pick me up... thanks for the same... we went to many country side places... including - that glider one where we were last time... and also passed near Checkers ( i hope i spell it right).....

We had lunch in an indian restraunt - Elaichi.... good food....and then had a cup of tea/coffee in some very traditional and old place...

i talked a lot wit Barbara this time and i felt like very good.... They both are very good and i feel them more like my own family.. ( i dont know why)..... they are really very nice people....

Barbara did discuss about her father, sister and family.. thanks for the same.....

We went also to a big wind-fan (i dont know what to say) - in Hindi - Hava se chalne wala big fan - etc..... and we had lots of photograpbs there....

i enjoyoyed a lot today......

but.... also came to know that my Mom was hospitalised today... did not discuss this with Michael and Barbara.... called Vinay if he could come back from Nahan and pick my Bro.......

also called Parul and Neeraj a lot but they did not pick my my phones.....i got angry...... also spoke with Harish and Anshul... i came to know that my Bro was coming to Delhi......

Thanks to anshul who is doing it all in my absense... for my Mom.... she should learn driving.... in my absense... they could not even take mother to a nearby hospital in car.....

...have to meet Anuj tomorrow...

LD goes to Nottingham

...i decided to go to Nottingham as we had 4 days off.....

I went to Euston Station in the morning as advised by Michael and i took a ticket to Northampton... then i realised that probably Dharampal is at Nottingham... i took the ticket and i had to go to St Pancras (i hope i spell it right) near Kings Cross Station to pick the train... it took only around 2 hours to reach Nottingham....

i went to Nottingham airport and met Dharampal... we came back to Cliffton where he lived... a very nice two bed-room house..... i enjoyed being with him.. also met Krishanan and Pinder.....

next day, we went to City Centre... one of the best shopping malls in Nottingham and bought many things (poundshop)..... we came back early and then i slept.... next day on 16th morning i took train back to Luton where i had to meet Michael and barbara....

LD visits Mirago in Alton, Hampshire - leaves the mobile phone in the train

.....it was a whole day meeting.... i first went to Waterloo station..... I had to go to Alton but the train was only till Farnham..... when i got down i left my Qtek 9100 Mobilephone in the train and realised it only when the train had left for yard.... i immediately went to the station master and the person there was helpful.... and he said that the train would be back only in 50 minutes.... i was getting late for the meeting....

Phillipa did try to call me but i did not have the phone.... i had to wait for another 30 minutes to take the next train....but luckily got the phone back.. I called Phillipa and she said fine.... when i reached Alton, i got lost once again as i could not find the address given..... At last, Phil came in his car to take me.

It was a very good / fruitful meeting and i met brett (technology head i think) and he agreed to have the website work done for us. came back only around 6.30 pm back at Tottenham court road..... called Anuj Gupta also and he asked me to see him on Monday...

planned with Deepak as to where all we could go but the program of hiring a car and then to go to Scotland was dropped as i could not pick my driving license from Anuj....

I decided to go to Dharampal Kumar at Nottingham....

LD visits Birmingham

.....Deepak asked me to go to Birmingham and there was this Ramanavami being celebrated by Andhra Pradesh people staying in UK.....

....it was very strange... i took Virgin Train from Euston Station at 7.40am and reached Birminghan New Station at 9.15... very fast train.. runs over 175kms per hour.... great experience.... we then took bus from Birmingham to Warwickshire... where we had to go...... we sat on the top of the double decker... it was the most enjoyable journeys of my life....

....Sant Nirankar Bhawan, where Ramanavami was being celebrated.... i came to know that the only program there was the marriage of Ram and Sita......for my surprise Deepak tells me that the priests (Pandits) had specially flown from Hyderabad for the marriage.... Cook was came from hyederabad....

I came back around 3pm.. took Tram (small bus type train) from warwichshire to birmingham and it took only 20 minutes (as compared to 45 minutes by bus)... i reached hotel at 6.30... bought SKY headphones and a screw driver...

On sunday, i just worked.... and worked... went to Tottenham Court Road and had dinner at that cheap Chinees r'rant......

Overture Workshop on 06th April and MIVA on 07th April

...as I earlier mentioned that i was late for the workshop, however, it was not too late and the game had just began...... During the workshop, i asked many questions from MARY O'BRIEN.... no one asked as many questions..

Sarah from www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk and Denize from (some casino company) became friends and later i joined Find-me-a-gift program also.... there was lunch in Hilton and it was really something great.... Holton Heathrow is one of the best five star (or may be even higher) in London.... I had a big glass of Red Wine.....and it was only then that i asked many question during the second session..

Came back to terminal 4 with Debize and we took heathrow express.. i got down at haton cross for Picaddily line for Russell Square....

On 07th morning, i had to go to MIVA office at Euston Station and i did reach around 9.30am. The conference was not as good but it was a good informative session and also i got some good contacts.... should be useful for Shoogloo and other affiliate website....

08th and 09th were weekdays... i went to Birmingham with Deepak and celebrated Ramanavami....

LD returns to London second time

.....after almost 6 months, i am once again in UK.... this time, it was very hectic.... i had planned initially to come through emirates flight but then finally it did not turn up that way.... i had planned to come on 5th morning so as to reach London around noon time.... but my VISA was not applied until 3rd April and i got my passport only at 8.30 pm on 4th night.... it was very hectic... thanks to Vinay Sharma to help me in all these things.... i came to know at travel agent that i was flying Austrian airlines....departing at 1.50am on 5th morning

..I had to meet Anuj Gupta, our CEO but he was not well.... Mr. Vinay Garg kept telling me about the new time schedule to meet Boss but it did not materialise.....

i reached home around 9pm and just got an hour to prepare.... my wife Anshul had kept everything ready.... we went to airport...

...flight was very good...... i reached Heathrow around 8.45 am on 5th (UK Time) and reached Royal National Hotel at around 10.30.....once again a very good hotel of Imperial Group of Hotels..

..Called Michael O'Sullivan and me decided to meet around 2.pm.... surprisingly i came to know that Andrew was coming to meet at 3pm..... he came along with one new guy Tom Bradford... and we discussed afraish what needed to do to take Shoogloo ahead of others......

......next day was that Overture workshop - Secrets of Yahoo Search Marketing.... and i was not registered for that... as there were many in waitlist and we were late to apply.....I kept asking Mary O'Brian - the Director of Training... and i got little disappointed as it was a very important workshop for us.....

I got late around 9.30 am...... went downstairs, had breakfast.... and started working on laptop.... for my surprise, there was cancellationdone and Mary had written me to attend the same.... i rushed to my room (Room NO 5107) and came down in 5 minutes and in the next three minutes i was in Picaddily line to Hilton Heathrow Airport..... I reached around 1120am and nothing much had been discussed... only what everything we were doing....

...will write separately about the workshop... but met many people of the industry.... Sarah and Denize....... as well.....

LD's First UK Tour

...the first time i came to any of the foreign countries is UK.... and i got this opportunity when i left indiatimes and joined Mr. Anuj Gupta...... it was very less known to me what i was going to do and i also took a chance as i believed Mr. Anuj Gupta a lot... i do not know why. ....i have been very close to big - big CEOs as i have been Executive Assitant to many big shots... but Mr. Anuj Gupta is something different.... and yes i joined his company in a different way....

First time i came to UK... i did not like it... it was all very strange for a person like me who has come all the way from a tiny village to this big place....... i found.... no flies, no mosquitoes, no dust, no street dogs, no cows / buffaloes / animals on roads, no sound pollution, many more to this.... everywhere there are cameras and you are being watched anywhere you go on the roads.....

i will write in details about this... right now i m on my second tour.. and i want to write about that......

.....i love you Anshul and rusheel...... (we call him Shoogloo - ever since he was borne)..... i am missing him....
